Remedial

Remedial Massage

A deep tissue massage that efficiently treats injuries, easing aches, pains discomfort and dysfunction.

Regular massage ensures that unnoticeable small injuries are treated before they reduce performance, helping to maintain balance and health in joints and muscles.

  Relaxing Massage

This is the massage to choose if you just want to chill out and be pampered. It relieves muscle tension and promotes general relaxation, leaving you with a sense of well being.

Holistic Massage

Although many types of massage can be termed holistic - treating the whole person ie mind, body and spirit, this massage is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine and works with the meridians and acupressure points, to restore balance in the body's energies, for health and well being.

Indian Head Massage

A wonderfully relaxing massage which releases the stress that has accumulated in the tissues, muscles and joints of the head, face, neck and shoulders. The massage is carried out sitting in a chair, fully clothed, and does not use oil, making it suitable for people who are wheelchair bound or partially immobile.

  Thai Foot Massage

Originated in Thailand over 2,000 years ago and still practiced by monks in Buddhist temples today. It is a massage of the lower legs and feet, involving stretching and stimulation of reflex points, and produces a deep and unique feeling of balance and well being.

RhythmMobility®

A unique type of bodywork which uses vibrations and rhythmical movement to both energise and encourage release of deep tensions. You remain clothed for the session, but do need to wear loose, comfortable clothing.

Tsuboki Japanese Face Massage

A wonderfully relaxing yet energising treatment. Involves massaging a small part of the body in order to influence the health of the whole person, through reflexes, acupressure points and meridians.

Tsuboki Japanese Hand Massage

More than just a massage! Massage and mobilisation of forearm, hand and fingers, thus accessing all reflex areas and over 50 acupressure points on 6 meridians.

Bowen Technique

A fascinating therapy involving gentle moves with the thumbs or fingers over muscles, tendons and ligaments. During brief breaks in the treatment, the body is allowed to respond to these moves, making subtle adjustments which help to rebalance, relieve tension and reduce pain. See 'news' for more information.
